Mining engineers of the future
European Mining Course (EMC)
The triple degree Master European Mining Course (EMC) covers every aspect of the life cycle of mineral resources. It is designed to provide a solid understanding of the global mining industry and takes a life-cycle approach by covering the entire mining value chain. The programme offers a state-of-the-art technical basis in resource modelling, mine design and economic evaluation. Technical knowledge is also supplemented with topics on business, economics, ethics and environmental engineering. The programme also covers a clearly defined and structured topic series on the management of health and safety and environmental impact of mining. EMC aims to train professionals of the future, who will be the decision makers and game-changers in mineral resources and associated engineering trades, delivering a strong vision of the future of the industry.
EMC supports the development of students into adaptive, innovative and entrepreneurially-oriented engineers that are capable of identifying the best approach to obtaining optimal value from mineral ore deposits.
Admission for the EMC Programme 2020-2022 opens on the 15th of October and closes on the 1st of April.

EIT Label scholarships: For students beginning in September 2020, scholarships from EIT RawMaterials of €13,500 per student are available to eligible EU and non-EU students.
After admission, EMC students from EU and non-EU countries will be informed about how to apply for an EIT Labelled scholarship.
FEMP scholarship: only non-EU students can apply for a (FEMP) scholarship of up to €9,000 in total, depending on the number of applicants, the funds available and the personal circumstances of the student.
READ MOREYou will be enrolled at TU Delft for the entire two-year period and at a partner university of their track, according to the rules of that university. You will be registered during the period of your stay at all partner universities, the tuition fee therefore follows the proposed fees subject to formal advice by TU Delft’s Student Council and final approval by TU Delft’s Executive Board. For the academic year 2019-2020 this yields:
Students with EU/EFTA nationality: 2,083,‐ Euros/year
Students with non‐EU/EFTA nationality: 18,750 ‐ Euros/year
